Meet the team

Jamel Ben Rejeb

Co-founder

Jamel is the co-founder of the BT Trust & Management Group and is managing the corporate services and family office activities of the Group with the support of the Banksy offices’ team primarily in Switzerland and the UAE. Jamel identified the need to provide potential clients with a holistic service in the wealth and financial management space.

Jamel’s career started at PricewaterhouseCoopers SA in Geneva before advancing to a director role in a well-known trust company in Geneva. Jamel is a certified Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) and a lawyer in Switzerland. He obtained his Bachelor degree in Law and a Masters degree in Law and Economics at the University of Lausanne. In addition, Jamel holds an LL.M. in International Business Law (Master of Laws) from City University of London, an LLM in US Laws (Antonin Scalia Law School, USA).

Jamel obtained in 2023 the STEP professional Postgraduate diploma in Private Wealth Advice.

Jamel is a member of the American Bar Association, member of the International Fiscal Association and the Swiss Jurist Association. Jamel’s expertise includes Anti-Money Laundering, International Taxation and Banking law.

Mathieu Bourqui

Board member

Obtaining his Bachelor degree at HEC Lausanne and HSG St-Gallen, Mathieu established firm foundations at Deloitte SA in Geneva and London before joining a global commodity trading company as the Chief Finance Officer for their Sub-Saharan Africa business. In his 8 years with the company, Mathieu led the Finance team overseeing the department activities across 10 countries, participated in closing 6 joint venture initiatives and further consolidating the company’s growth through the acquisition of new business segments.

It was Mathieu’s entrepreneurial spirit and success in this particular area of his job that led to his most recent venture; after obtaining an MBA from ALU School of Business, Mathieu joined a start-up in the Education sphere as Group CFO honing his operational skills. In this role, Mathieu has successfully led the development and implementation of systems and processes and is playing a pivotal role in positioning the company for shareholders as it approaches its next equity funding initiative.

Mathieu is a Swiss certified auditor and brings to the Banksy team his corporate and entrepreneurial experience acquired both internationally and locally. Mathieu understands the importance of taking extreme ownership of projects and enjoys working with executives to grow their businesses through financial modelling, competitive market analysis, and creative problem-solving.

Marcel Stettler

Board member

With over 30 years of experience in the trust industry, Marcel has built a distinguished career dedicated to serving an international and multicultural clientele. He began his professional journey at FIDES Fiduciaire in Geneva.

He subsequently took on prominent roles, serving as Senior Trust Officer at Pictet & Cie and Senior Trust Director at the Rathbones Group. Additionally, he has held senior positions within family offices, spanning multinational organizations like the TMF Group and specialized boutique firms.
With expertise in the bespoke structuring and daily management of complex trust structures, foundations, and international companies, Marcel is well-versed in wealth, estate, and business planning. Over the years, he has developed a keen ability to analyze and address the unique needs of high-net-worth clients.

Marcel holds the Swiss Federal Diploma in Business Administration (ESECO) and the Diploma in International Trust Management (TEP). He is fluent in French, English, German, and Swiss German.

Imène Alem

Administrative Associate

Following a French graduate degree in international business (BTS in international business), Imène has worked for many years in the field of services, especially for a wealthy clientele. Her good mood and professionalism as well as her discretion have made her indispensable to both the clients and the her management. Imène is fluent in Arabic, French and English.

Sarah Ben Majdouba

Administrative Associate

After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in management, Sarah worked for many years in sales and marketing. Her good humor, professionalism and discretion have made her indispensable to both customers and the Banksy Trust Company management team. Sarah is fluent in French, English, Dutch and Spanish and will be delighted to welcome you to our offices in Geneva.

The Dubai team is composed of five dedicated and experienced professionals.

The Dubai team employees are European nationals who have been residing in the UAE for more than 10 years.

The team is composed of two chartered accountants, one certified real estate officer and one trust officer.

The partner in charge of the office is Mr Jamel Ben Rejeb.
